This assignment focused on reaching out to Purchasing Professionals and interviewing them about their perceptions and interactions with Salespeople. It's focus was to introduce the class to cold calling and also give us advice on effective/ineffective sales practices.

The persuasive presentation focused on creating a video presentation directed to someone in the C-suite role. In order to prepare for this assignment, we researched quarterly earnings reports and put together a solution to a problem a company was having. 

This assignment was an active role in prospecting for companies to start recruiting efforts. We were to chose 15 companies off of a list and had a requirement of bringing two of the companies in to meet with the Baylor Career Center.

The BBBD competition is a three part competition. The first aspect is creating a pre-call plan, next we send an email to the company and person who will gain the greatest benefit from the product, and lastly we create a voicemail to accompany the email.

The BBSO Competition is a 20 minute role-play where the objective is to sell the product in that time frame. We follow a set of guidelines for this and are judged on a multitude of factors. This competition is done individually, but as a Junior you do this twice and the second time is with a partner.

The pink assessment is one of the first assignments in Prosales 2. This focuses on the type of person we are and how that translates into sales. It is a a self assessment to help us understand our strengths and weaknesses with regards to sale.
